Community of Christ will host the Peace Forum from Oct 16-18th 2026 at the Temple in Independence, MO, USA. This years theme is "Seeds of Peace: Enviromental Justice and Action" with the International Peace Award given to Bill McKibben. Bill McKibben is a renowned environmental justice advocate. With over 20 books and contributions to The New Yorker, he is a leading voice on environmental issues. Mr. McKibben's has driven global climate campaigns, opposed oil pipelines, and advanced fossil fuel divestment. This will be a weekend to not only share in the achievements of Mr. McKibben but also come together as a community to learn ways that we too can lead change in environmental justice and action. This will be a beautiful weekend of connection, worship, songs and fellowship with brothers and sisters in Christ.
