Armed with Truth

Armed with Truth "Armed with Truth" is a new online group that started on June 17, 2024. It is sponsored by the Greenville, SC, Community of Christ Congregation. This group is a safe and welcoming place for anyone in the LGBTQIA2+ community or anyone who wants to learn how to understand the Bible in a positive way. Many people face judgment and rejection from others. Sometimes, some Christians use the Bible to hurt, judge, or accuse others by taking verses out of context. This group is about learning more about the Bible, its background, and context so that we can respond in a peaceful way or better understand how the Bible has been used to hurt members of the LGBTQIA2+ community. We will study positive ways to interpret the Bible, listen to guest speakers and experts, and most importantly, support and encourage each other. Our motto is "Equipped, Supported and Loved."
